Early versions of Roland XP-10 had no a backlit LCD screen, so reading was not clear. Just there was an almost impossible to read the non-backlit LCD. ![]() ![]() However, this can be changed now. Here is the effect of solution, Roland XP-10 with LCD backlit display: ![]() I chose a new, modern LCD with white letters on a black background, ![]() but can be any other display. ![]() BTW, I like modification. Here is Roland U-110 and his new LCD with white letters on a blue background: ![]() ![]() Unfortunately, in both cases, you can't simply remove the old LCD module and put a new one.
